i love freeze dried fruit so much, if I had the money I would literally eat bags of them a day….and then probably od on vitamins lol, but seriously I wish these were cheaper My parents only like to eat bad food and it’s practially impossible for them to get me any healthy food without me having to fight like crazy for it and they just complain about money, sorry off topic.
But yeah they are better than sweets, i’m sure if any kids tried them they would prefer them to sweets easy.

It’s true, they are pricier. But freeze-dried fruit doesn’t go bad and it’s so light to carry. When I want a healthy, crunchy snack for my kiddos it sure beats potato chips;)

We’ve had the Just Fruit freeze-dried fruits (at least I think they’re freeze-dried) but they’re so pricey that we opt to go for the real fruits instead. Still, it’s a healthy and light-weight snack to bring on hikes and stuff.

I have tried freeze dried fruit, found it tasty and the linds a I tried — strawberry, pineapple, raspberry — are tasty and have a unique flavor/texture combunation. they can get pricey though, so thanks for the suggestion on that.

have you tried freeze dried vegetables?

My sister-in-law eats dehydrated apples. I did not know about freeze-dried either. Will have to try some the next time I go to Trader Joe’s.

I’ve had freeze-dried fruit, and really like it. Thanks for supplying the link for a more affordable version – it does get pricey!
