I like your choices. last time my landlords replaced the fluorescent overhead lighting in my kitchen, they used warm fluorescents instead of the industrial blue tinged kind. thought I wasn’t going to like it much, but it is easy to see by and does make the place look more welcoming.

Hubby changed our laundry room’s industrial-looking fluorescent lights to a tasteful looking round thingie that takes energy efficient bulbs, but he didn’t patch the holes left from the original light since nobody goes in that room but me.

I like what you’ve chosen. Good lighting is so important, especially in the kitchen, where it seems everyone is always hanging out.

I’ve noticed ditching the muted overhead lighting makes our food look tastier. It’s amazing what decent lighting can do.
