My kids eat squid … and mole enchiladas, cannelloni, halo-halo, zucchini cookies, spicy eel rolls—and all without leaving the house. We’re always trying something new in our kitchen. There’s no fancy Viking Range (but I’d love one!) or exotic spices (well, maybe just a few) in my kitchen, but plenty of ideas and kids willing to try just about anything. Do I force them to sample a new recipe with the whole ‘you-can’t-leave-the-table-til-you’re-finished’ bit? Nope. My kids have learned through watching, smelling, eating that with mom and dad’s creativity comes some tasty dishes—along with a few misses (tofu lasagna, not so yummy).

Ready for a little adventure? Click around, I’ll be adding recipes, ideas and pictures to help you and your family get more excited about what’s for dinner. And breakfast…and snacks…and lunch…and dessert…
