Hi,
My daughter eats squid too but I don’t want to make her favourite salt and pepper squid at home because it’s a bit too fried (she is 5). Do you have a good and relatively healthy way to cook squid for kids who don’t mind some flavour?
I thought I might find a squid recipe for kids here.

Do you ever try it as part of a stir fry? You can use it as you would chicken and pack the stir fry with veggies (use olive oil, fresh grated ginger and toss a little sesame in toward the end) and serve it over brown rice for a healthy, delicious meal. I usually use Jasmine or Basmati rice myself, but if you’re looking for the most nutritional punch, I’d opt for brown.

There are so many cool things you can do. What about lickable wallpaper? You can make a batch of homemade fruit leather on a large baking sheet and then have her bring that in. You can cut it into strips–in the classroom with clean scissors–and encourage the kids to “eat wallpaper.”
